F5 Ecodesign
Concept, naming, branding, lettering, website prototype, poster, illustration and layout | 2015
F5 Ecodesign is a store that sells sustainable clothing & accessories made out of recyclable and reusable materials. It is also a design lab that offers workshops to teach the process of making sustainable products and lectures on topics related to social and environmental issues. The brand is meant to convey refreshment, cycles, optimism towards sustainability, and a balance between nature, technology and humankind.
Concept
Design for environmental change.
Visual Strategy
The name f5 is inspired by the shortcut on the computer keyboard to reload/refresh
a page and  it represents a cyclic movement as well as a balance with technology. I
drew the logotype to maintain an organic feel and continue the brand’s values for
hand-crafted designs, while the sans serif typeface for the tagline sets a modern yet stylish tone. The colors and the shape of the logo are also used to reinforce these values. The event poster maintains a handcrafted and warm feel with hand drawn the elements laid out in an arrangement with cyclic movement, and a typeface with a personal feel.
Connotation
Organic, friendly, stylish and modern
